Over here they cost about 160 pounds, extremely cheap compared to what they would cost in the UK.

Hi Pinky
You take care you lucky sod due to eyesight lost my licence 4 years ago so bloody frustrating not to be able to suddenly pop out to the shop cafe or even take the dogs for a nice country walk.

That must be terrible for you I can't imagine the frustration that must cause.
When I turned 47 I needed glasses, luckily 10 yrs later my eyesight hasn't changed much.
Light at the end of the tunnel regarding Covid. UK is light yrs ahead of Canada in vaccinations.
You two take care, spring is around the corner for you I've got potentially 2 months of winter still!!
