As usual commenting on the many things that annoy in our society. As usual I hit on the Corona story, health service, political disarray etc. etc..
In his reply was a statement which should perhaps make us all think very hard before complaining:
"The Health Service is great, but what most people forget is that there is a huge part of the world that gets along without one and still survives, perhaps we should take a few lessons from them. Talking to my friend in Yemen, still no vaccination program, kids are back in school, the war is still going on. He is bringing in the corn harvest and sharing it with his neighbours !"
Days later I am still humbled and moved by this statement
